ColourPop 'Ultra Matte Lip' Review

Creeper ⎟ Tulle ⎟ Avenue ⎟ More Better ⎟ Bumble

My ultimate goal for this year is to post at least 3 times a month and for my first post, I decided to review my Colourpop 'Ultra Matte Lip' liquid lipsticks. I purchased these back in November and I am loving them. They are supper affordable and can be worn on a daily basis.

Creeper: The first shade listed, is a nice shade of red. It's the type of red that can be worn with or without a full face of makeup. And this shade is perfect for all seasons.

Tulle: My friend had bought Tulle and she recommended that I buy one for myself. Mind you my friend has a very rich deep complexion and Tulle suited her very nicely. When the product arrived, I tried it on and it looked completely different compared to how it looked on her. I'm not saying that it's not a nice shade but it wasn't the best shade for me. I then mixed it with bumble and it looked better compared to wearing it on its own but that's not a shade that I would gravitate towards if I was going out. Tulle is like an earth brown shade but keep in mind it differs depending on your skin tone.

Avenue: This shade is the perfect shade of burgundy for us brown skinned girls. Out of the 5 shades that I purchased, Avenue is my top favorite. It really compliments my skin tone perfectly and this is a shade that I wear alone. Avenue is a very nice and rich shade that would compliment all skin tones.

More Better: More Better is a berry shade and it's also one of my top shades. Just like Avenue it complements my skin tone perfectly. When I wore this shade, I received so many compliments. This is another shade that you can wear alone. Just put on your face and some mascara and More Better will steal the show.

Bumble: If I had the option to return this shade, best believe I would. Bumble was soo depressing. It was the worst shade of them all. Based on how it looked in the swatches, I thought it would've looked nice or at least decent enough for me to wear but it wasn't. The color is very ashy against my skin tone and doesn't apply as smoothly compared to the other shades listed above. Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I recommend that all of you guys go out and order a few to try them out for your approval. Why spend 20 dollars on the higher end liquid lippies when you can purchase these at a supper affordable price. They are very easy to apply and you do not have to worry about reapplying the product throughout the day or night. The only negative thing that I would say is that the product can be drying so if you want, you are more than welcomed to purchase the primer they sell to ease the dryness. But to save money what you can do is moisturize your lips before you start your make up routine just to ease the dryness. The liquid lipsticks retails for $6.00 which is an amazing deal for what you're purchasing. The website is easy to navigate and I think I received my order unless than 5 days.

❉ I hoped my review helped you guys and I hope to see you all again next time. ♡♡♡♡
